This policy covers two iOS games made by PG App Studios: Star Seekers: Shard War and Star Seekers 2, plus this website. We keep it short and plain. Neither game shows ads, uses analytics or tracks you across other apps or websites, and we never sell your data. This website uses Google Analytics only if you accept it (see section 7).

Shard War has no accounts and no servers of ours. We do not collect any personal data.
You can create an account so your scores appear on the global and faction leaderboards. Here is exactly what that involves.
| Data | Why | Where it's stored |
|---|---|---|
| Sign in with Apple: a user ID from Apple, your email (or Apple's private relay address if you choose “Hide My Email”) and your name if you choose to share it | To create and secure your account | Firebase Authentication (Google) |
| Email sign-in: your email address and password. The password is encrypted by Firebase, and we never see it | To create and secure your account and send password-reset emails | Firebase Authentication (Google) |
| Leaderboard entry: user ID, player name, score, faction, level reached and time of the score | To show the leaderboards. Your player name, score, faction and level are visible to other players. | Cloud Firestore (Google) |
| Game progress, settings, credits and unlocked ships | To run the game | On your device only |
| Purchases of credit packs | To add the credits to your game | Processed by Apple. We only record the credits on your device |
Pick a player name that doesn't reveal your real identity if you'd rather stay anonymous. We may remove names that are offensive.
Star Seekers 2 uses Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore from Google as our data processor. Google may store this data on servers outside the European Union, including in the United States, protected by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. See Firebase privacy and security. We do not use Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics or any advertising SDK.
You can ask us to access, correct, delete or export your data, or object to or restrict how we use it. Email pgmetastudios@gmail.com from the address linked to your account, or include your player name, and we'll reply within 30 days. You can also complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, the CNPD, or to the authority in your own country.
Neither game is directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. Shard War collects no personal data from anyone. If you believe a child under 13 has created a Star Seekers 2 account, contact us and we'll delete it.
_ga, _ga_*) that last up to 2 years and collects things like pages viewed, approximate location (country/city), device and browser type, and how you arrived. Google does not store your full IP address. Ad features and Google signals are switched off. Our legal basis is your consent. If you decline, Analytics is never loaded. You can change your choice any time with Cookie settings. Data may be processed by Google in the United States under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. See Google's privacy policy.Data is sent over encrypted connections, and access to our Firebase project is restricted by security rules. No system is perfectly secure, but we keep what we collect to the minimum.
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If a change is significant, such as collecting a new type of data, we'll also say so in the game's update notes.
