A frontier at the edge of known space.
Three civilizations. One shattered star-forge. And something in the dark that has been waiting a very long time to eat the light. This is the story of the Star Seekers universe.
The Beacon
An ancient star-forge, built by a civilization older than every faction. The Vaari used it to seal away a void intelligence that devours stars. For eons, it held.

The Fracture
The Beacon shattered. Its wake carved a debris zone of broken worlds across the Reaches. For a thousand years, the Fracture was dead rock.

The Pulse & the Ember Bloom
One night the shards lit up, bright enough to be seen from three civilizations. Every faction sent its fleet. Over Halden's Drift, somebody fired on a shard. It bloomed: a sphere of fire that burned for eleven minutes and erased three fleets at once.
STAR SEEKERS: SHARD WARThe Shard War
The survivors, human, reptilian and spirit, band together as the Ashwing. A warlord falls mid-battle. A world burns. And near the shards, every captain hears the Whisper, promising victory. The war was never an accident.
STAR SEEKERS: SHARD WAR
The Accord of Ashes
Forge, Drakari and Vaari sign the peace, named after the fleet that proved it could be done. The Lanegates are built. The Shroud Reaches are sealed, abandoned and forgotten.

The shards wake again
Salvage runner Vex Kaine intercepts a dying transmission: coordinates to the first Beacon Shard. Every shard that wakes also stirs the Hollow. The race is on.
STAR SEEKERS 2
“It doesn't need to fight anyone. War burns shard energy faster than anything else. So it whispers, and the war keeps going.”
THE HOLLOW IS LISTENING.
One pilot. Five shards. 100 levels.
The Reaches were sealed and forgotten. Now the Beacon Shards pulse again. Fly through alien waves, face a giant boss at the end of every single level, and recover the shards before the Hollow finds you.

VEX KAINE
Independent salvage runner. No faction. Lost a crew to a warlord raid. A survivor by necessity, not a hero by choice.
One shard every twenty levels.
Every shard you recover brings you closer to the truth, and wakes the Hollow a little more.
Fly 12 ships across 3 factions.

ANVIL SPARROW
Standard-issue Forge starter fighter.
A boss at the end of every level.

Three factions. Three species.
Humans, reptilians and spirits. They nearly destroyed each other once. In both games, you decide who you fly for.
Humans · Grit & adaptabilityForge Compact
Miners and frontier workers. A decentralised militia of gunmetal hulls, violet plates and orange engines.
MARSHAL DORIAN KADE
Reptilians · Ferocity & numbersDrakari Dominion
A warrior empire of castes: Veyl scholars, Khar warriors, Drosk miners. Emerald scales over bronze rock armor.
OREN VASH
Spirits · Ancient knowledgeThe Vaari
Beings of light bound in obsidian and crystal. They sealed the Hollow once. Their tech looks like magic.
AETHONFrequently asked questions
What is Star Seekers?
Star Seekers is a series of space shooter games for iPhone by PG App Studios, set in an original universe called the Shroud Reaches. There are two games: Star Seekers: Shard War, a fleet-survivor roguelite, and Star Seekers 2, a 100-level campaign with a boss at the end of every level.
Which game should I play first?
Either works. Shard War is the prequel and tells the story of the Shard War. Star Seekers 2 takes place twenty years later. Playing Shard War first shows you how the Hollow and the Beacon Shards became a threat.
Are the games free?
Yes, both are free to download. In Shard War, Act 1, the captain Lyra Nevis and 10 Shard Echoes are free, and one purchase unlocks the full war. In Star Seekers 2, every ship can be earned by playing, and optional credit packs let you go faster.
Do the games have ads?
No. Neither Star Seekers game shows ads, has energy timers or tracks you across other apps.
Which devices are supported?
Both games are made for iPhone and also run on iPad. They use simple one-thumb controls: touch to fly while your ships fire on their own.
What's the difference between the two games?
Shard War is a roguelite. You build a fleet of rescued wingmen in 10-minute runs, switch formations and fuse ships. Star Seekers 2 is a classic level-by-level shooter with 100 levels, 12 ships to unlock, upgrades and global leaderboards.
